Sam Vojdani

 

Sam Vojdani, Chair

Sam Vojdani is a native of Duluth, Georgia and is currently a 3rd year Biology major and Biomedical Engineering minor with certificates of recognition for Business and Research Distinction, focused on the Pre-Med track. Sam is in his third year of HAC, and is the current Chair, having previously headed the Events Committee.

In addition to his duties on HAC, Sam has held positions in multiple organizations on Tech's campus; he has been Scholarship and Social Chair for his fraternity, an external advisor on the Student Foundation Board of Trustees, and a member of the Lambda Sigma honor society, Freshman Council, Executive Round Table, and Student Government Association Academic Affairs Committee. He has also participated in research for BME and Biology labs, and is currently in his 4th semester of research.

Sam's greatest passion is playing soccer. He currently plays for an adult league team that ranks first in the league, and plans to join the Atlanta Silverbacks reserve team in the fall.

Corey Boone

Corey "CT" Boone is a native of Albany, GA where he graduated from Deerfield-Windsor Preparatory School. Corey has always dreamed of being a Yellow Jacket, and since coming to Tech, he has been actively involved in a number of student organizations. Aside from the Honor Advisory Council, Corey divides his time between Theta Xi Fraternity, the Student Government Association, and GT Ambassadors. When not spending his time studying or giving a presentation for the Honor Advisory Council, Corey can be found running, working out, or hanging out with friends.

Jessie is a second year biochemistry major from Marietta. Her campus involvement includes Honor Advisory Council, Omega Phi Alpha, National Society of Collegiate Scholars, GT Trailblazers, Foundation for International Medical Relief of Children, Student Hospital Connection, and The Student Foundation Investments Committee. Her interests include modeling, salsa dancing, going to the theatre, hiking, volunteering, and traveling. She hopes to eventually attend medical school, volunteer on every continent (except Antarctica), and visit every country in Latin America.

 Mitch Keller

Mitch Keller is a doctoral student in the School of Mathematics who anticipates receiving his Ph.D. in May 2010. He grew up in a town of less than 300 people in rural North Dakota and earned a B.S. in Mathematics from North Dakota State University in 2004. At NDSU he held positions in which he participated on the adjudication side of student integrity. Desiring to prevent acts of misconduct rather than continue adjudicating them, he joined the Honor Advisory Council in November 2004 and served as Vice Chair for Fall 2005. In addition to HAC, Mitch is active in the Graduate Student Government Association, having served as Vice President (2005-2006) and President (2006-2007) and on the Student Regulations Committee (2006-present) which performed the last revision to the Student Code of Conduct in Fall 2006.

Michael Gilbert is a graduating senior and soon to be grad student at Georgia Tech, pursuing a Masters in Polymer Fiber Engineering.  He loves movies and just getting to know people. Michael stays involved with his fraternity and keeping up some amazing friendships both inside and outside of it.

Thomas is a 2nd year Materials Science and Engineering major from Augusta, Georgia and a member of the Honor Council's internal development committee and has been on the committee for a year. In addition to this role on the Council Thomas is a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity, the Interfraternity Council, and Campus Outreach. Thomas also is a Physics I recitation TA who enjoys going outdoors on the weekends.

Xuxia Yao is a graduate student in School of Polymer, Textile and Fiber Engineering. She joined HAC in the spring of 2008 and always wanted to give her contribution to Georgia Tech community. It is also her great honor to help students build a foundation of lifelong integrity and also keep Georgia Tech as a community of trust.

My name is Qiu Hao Ye...but you can call me Jeff. I was born in Shanghai, China and moved to Houston, Texas at age 2. I then moved back to Shanghai when I was 10 and attended Shanghai American School until college. I like sports, spending time with friends, and singing in the shower, or just anywhere at all.
